A note from Reverend Lloyd W. Jewett:
We are a member of the American Baptist Churches. There are 168 American Baptist Churches in the state of Michigan. North Rome Baptist Church is located in the beautiful Devils Lake - Round Lake - Irish Hills area and is a family centered church.
We specialize in down to earth Gospel preaching, a great Bible centered youth program and an "All Family Bible School.
We encourage the ordinances of baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. We're the "Country Church Where Christ is Exalted!" A country church welcome awaits you. Good preaching, coffee time and quality Sunday School classes for adults & children will encourage you to live for God.

North Rome Baptist Covenant:
We who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the on God chose to bring forgiveness to all, and have committed our lives to following Christ's example, do now enter into covenant together as members of the household of God in community with one another.
We promise, with God's help, to walk together in love, to work together for the growth of this church, and to support it with our time, talents & gifts, our money, and our energies.
We will seek to know and to love God with all our hearts and minds and bodies and to build one another up in love.
We will share the good news of God's grace with others and live our lives honestly and faithfully in a manner that attracts others to our Lord Jesus.
We will try to promote justice and peace, to be honest and keep our promises, to be kind and gentle, to cooperate with other people of faith, to actively serve the community, and to be ever growing examples of the Realm of God on the earth.
We promise to watch over one another in love, to remember each other in prayer, to aid each other in time of need, to seek to understand, honor, and support each other, to be slow to take offense and eager to be reconciled.
We enter into this covenant with each other, through God's grace, that we may lead a Christ-like life, bound together with love and mutuality. We will reach out to aid others, whatever their spiritual path, or physical circumstances.
When we leave this local church we will seek to find another church where we can minister to others and grow in faith.
